McCartney Auto Electrical was founded in 2023 by Caleb McCartney, a qualified mechanic and auto electrician with over 14 years of experience across the automotive, mining, and heavy-machinery sectors. Caleb has extensive expertise working on all makes and models of heavy mobile equipment, earthmoving machinery, and light-vehicle fleets, both in workshops and on mining and civil sites.

With strong capability in mining and heavy-industry operations, we provide a comprehensive range of auto-electrical services, including:

• Diagnostics, repairs, and overhaul of electrical and electronic systems on heavy mobile plant equipment

• Design, manufacture, and installation of custom wiring harnesses for OEM and aftermarket applications

• Full machine electrical rebuilds and refurbishments

• Installation and maintenance of mine-spec safety systems such as GPS, proximity detection, collision-avoidance, e-stops and fatigue-management systems

• Electrical upgrades, accessory wiring, and advanced fault-finding for heavy machinery, trucks, and light vehicles

• Air-conditioning servicing, repairs, and compliance work

• Preventative maintenance programs, breakdown support, and ongoing fleet electrical management

McCartney Auto Electrical also holds a Refrigerant Trading Authorisation (RTA) issued by the Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC).
